Nick Buchan's Support Team

After taking a career break to have children, Louise decided to change direction and in 2008 she took the exams needed to qualify as a Financial Adviser. She joined Finance Shop in January 2009 and, after initially working as an Adviser dealing in investments and pensions, Louise moved to our Norwich office in September 2010 to work as a Personal Assistant to Nick Buchan. Louise is now Team Leader to Nick’s PA’s and administration support staff.

Nicky joined Finance Shop in 2023 and is a Deputy Team Manager within our Norwich Office. Nicky started her career as a Financial Adviser and after enjoying many successful years, now utilises her extensive experience within the operational side of Financial Services.

Outside of work Nicky enjoys yoga, pilates and spending time with her children Jack and Eva.

Oscar is currently working as a Personal Assistant in Nick’s team, after joining Finance Shop in July 2018 as an Apprentice. Oscar has always been interested in pursuing a career in the finance industry, having studied finance at a local college from which he was offered a scholarship from the London Institute of Banking and Finance. Since joining Finance Shop, Oscar has gained plenty of knowledge to aid his progression in the industry and is currently studying for his final exam to become fully qualified.

Outside of work he enjoys playing and watching football and socialising with friends and family.

Aaron started at Finance Shop in 2016 as an Apprentice, having been eager to start a career in the Finance Industry.

Aaron has since become a Senior PA to Nick Buchan and has helped manage client relations within our FS Pro service, dealing with high net worth clients, and in particular, professional sports people. He is continuing to pursue a career in the financial services industry by working towards his DipFA qualification while gaining a wealth of experience in the industry.

In his spare time Aaron is a passionate Arsenal fan and he continues to play and watch football at every opportunity, while also spending time socialising with friends and family.

Ben joined Finance Shop in May 2021 as a PA to Scott Oliver, having previously worked in the retail industry across multiple departments for five years. Ben has since become a PA for Nick Buchan and is continuing to pursue a career in the financial services industry by working towards his DipPFS qualifications while gaining a wealth of experience in the industry as well as providing PA duties to both the Directors and Client Relationship Managers.

In his spare time, Ben has been studying for his private pilot's licence and is a keen traveller and adventure enthusiast, often combining the two.

Lucas joined the Finance Shop team in April 2023 as a Trainee Personal Assistant after graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Economics. After graduating, Lucas worked in various hospitality settings across East Anglia before deciding that it was time to pursue a career relating to his degree. Lucas is eager to expand his knowledge and is keen to develop his understanding of the financial services industry.

 Outside of work, Lucas enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing and watching a variety of sports, especially football.

Adam joined Finance Shop in July 2024 after graduating from the University of Manchester with a degree in Business Management (International Business Economics).

After working in hospitality for 3 years during university, he decided to pursue his goal of a career in finance. Adam is eager to hit the ground running and start his exams to become fully qualified. 

Outside work Adam enjoys engaging in various sports including bouldering and football, as well as trying out new restaurants as much as possible. 

Jasmine joined Finance Shop as a Trainee Personal Assistant in September 2024, following the completion of her Literature Degree at the University of East Anglia.

Jasmine previously worked in a management position in retail for several years, gaining invaluable work experience. Jasmine is eager to learn more about the financial industry and building a career with Finance Shop. 

Outside of work Jasmine is an avid reader and continues to try new hobbies, pursuing all experiences with enthusiasm.

Michelle has been working in the financial sector since 1990, having previously worked for a building society. After taking a career break to bring up her two children, she joined Finance Shop in 2011.

Michelle has undertaken various roles since joining, but in 2017 she helped set up FS Ventures, which she continues to look after and is expanding year on year.

In her spare time she enjoys Kettlercise, Boxing, Metafit and going to the gym and getting out on the golf course.

Tina has worked in financial services for thirteen years gaining experience in mortgages and business banking. Tina is keen to widen her skills and knowledge within the industry.

In Tina's spare time she enjoys cycling around Norfolk and hiking in the Lake District

Tori joined Finance Shop in November 2017 after graduating from an Executive PA Diploma course in Oxford, as an alternative to going to University. Tori works as one of Nick Buchan’s Personal Assistants, supporting Nick with the preparation and arrangement of financial planning for his Discretionary Portfolio Management clients.

In Tori’s free time she plays hockey for her local hockey club and enjoys playing tennis with friends.
